Christopher Lee

I make films to move people—stories that matter, stories that honor the real heroes walking among us. I specialize in short documentaries: focused, cinematic pieces that cut through the noise and get to the heart of real-life moments. In a fast-paced world, I believe brevity can be powerful—and truth, when told with clarity and heart, can speak volumes in just a few minutes.

There’s this notion that you have to be part of the Hollywood system to make films that matter—that you have to stream on Netflix or run the film festival circuit to create impact. Those are great vehicles to share your story, but there are other ways to affect real change, especially in your own community. That belief is at the core of my work.

I proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Like we say: once a Marine, always a Marine. The discipline, resilience, and purpose I gained during that time continue to shape how I approach both life and storytelling. Service has always been at the heart of who I am, and that spirit drives every frame I create.

I began my journey as a content creator for the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office, where I learned to find the humanity behind the headlines. Today, I serve as the Media Production Manager for the Sheriff's Employees' Benefit Association (SEBA), where I have the privilege of capturing the courage, resilience, and everyday heroism of those who protect our communities.

Along the way, I’ve been honored to earn a handful of awards for my work—but recognition has never been the goal. For me, filmmaking is about impact: preserving legacies, building connection, and honoring the men and women who step up when others step back. I burned the boats a long time ago—this is the mission, and I’m all in.
